PROJECT REGISTRATION

We help you register your project with TDLR. If your project has an estimated construction cost of $50,000 or more and is subject to the Texas Accessibility Standards (TAS), state law requires it to be registered before a building permit can be issued. Most permitting authorities require a valid TDLR registration number before issuing a building permit.

Whether you’d like to register the project yourself or have us complete the registration for you, we’ll guide you through the process from start to finish. If you prefer to register the project yourself, we’ve created a step-by-step Registration Guide to make the process simple.

PLAN REVIEW

We review your construction documents for compliance with the Texas Accessibility Standards (TAS). Identifying accessibility issues before construction begins helps reduce costly field corrections, minimizes project delays, and keeps your project moving forward.

We perform a detailed accessibility review, identify potential compliance issues, coordinate the required TDLR documentation, and answer questions throughout the process.

You'll receive a written report identifying any accessibility deficiencies along with recommendations for compliance.

INSPECTION

We perform the required on-site accessibility inspection to verify that the completed project complies with the Texas Accessibility Standards. While the inspection may be completed any time before the required deadline, we recommend scheduling it during the final punch walk to allow time for any necessary corrections.

We document our findings, explain any deficiencies that need to be corrected, and submit the required reports to TDLR.
