About

Clint Ryan, RAS, reThink Access

reThink Access was created to help educate and inform the public about access in the environment that we engage in everyday. As an accessibility specialist I believe that I have a responsibility and an opportunity to make a difference. With over 25 years of experience in Architecture and Interior Design, I was raised with making design decisions that relate directly to access. My goal for reThink Access is to assist building owners and design professionals to ensure that they have removed architectural barriers and provided accessible buildings and facilities for everyone.

I enjoy taking from my own professional experiences to provide solutions through articles that cover accessibility topics and research of the Accessibility Standards.

My career began before I even knew it. I started learning how to draw shapes with a t-square and a pencil on an elementary school desk during the last 30 minutes of grade school. During middle school and high school I would enter regional and state competitions always taking a ribbon. I would stay after school to work on competition projects and learn how to use AutoCAD. Then, an opportunity presented itself at the end of my senior year in high school and I was hired on as a draftsman at an Architecture and Interior Design firm. While working there full time, I developed my design skills and studied architecture at UTA.
